Victoria Royals (WHL) Logo and Uniform

It looks better in color, but it's still pretty terrible... A shame that the Bruins identity was lost and this is what replaces it, and even worse that something as uniquely awesome as "Salmon Kings" had to go away for this one as well

I like it, I wish it was the Dragons but i am glad they got rid of the bruins and the Salmon Kings. Salmon Kings just sound like a High School team.

I like the new WHL Royals jersey Way better then the Echl salmon kings jersey. I like the team name as well. Good job

Uni's are good, logo looks like a handicap doodled it during his sleep.

It's terrible... makes me think I'm cheering for a Royal Bank beer league team... not a WHL team from Victoria... couldn't be worse!!!

The name is great (much better than teh "Tide" which was one of the options), but the logo and jerseys are absolutely god-awful. What is that cardboard cut-out RBC lion doing exactly? A half-hearted paw swipe, with his three square toes? The typeface for ROYALS is neither modern nor is it a kind of cool heritage style. If they're going to write the name of the team into the actual logo, at least make it attractive. Problem is, it looks like they were going for a bargain basement junior hockey look, when they should have aspired to an NHL look. Think bigger you guys. So for me it's Go Royals Go, but please get changed first.

And also, why a maple leaf? Do we not know what country we live in, or what country 75% of WHL teams are based in? Surely there's got to be something left in Canada that doesn't need to have a red leaf plastered on it.

Looks great. I will be buying one for sure. Glad they went with this coat of arms type look instead of some stupid crown. Only good name out of them to. I wish the team was called Victoria Rain but Royals is good, better than Dragons(are you kidding me) or Force.

Salmon Kings were terrible, couldn't be happier they are gone. I like the royals, would have preferred the capitals. The jerseys are nice, compared to the salmons kings god awful jerseys they're a work of art

The name is OK. I will give a mulligan to the uniform designers as they are using a template this year but will have their work cut out for them next year with the bad colors they picked. Logo is bad. Old school hockey writing with the city name would work better.

Anything is better than Salmon . Would prefer Capitals but Royals are fine. Uniforms look good. One of the better one s in the Dub. Far better than Salmon What ?

Very traditional. Victoria is still very British oriented. Logo is heraldic (I.E it looks like it is on a coat of armour or a shield). At least it is not a goofy name.

Hope all the complainers and idea buffs will be season ticket holders and attend the games rather than sit back with the "comments" !!!
