ive actually seen a version of this with the red and the blue reversed, it wasnt as good as this though.

Set the standard for all other leagues to follow, most notably the NBA and NFL (among others). By the way, the designer said that once and for all that it is NOT meant to be Harmon Killebrew. It is just a design of a generic player, unlike the NBA logo which was patterned after Jerry West.
