Of which 2 teams are you referring? The Sabres and who else? The Rangers couldn't possibly be the other with their own continuous history of mediocrity. If islands do float away, just remember that Manhattan is an island, too.

The Islanders aren't in NYC, they are in Long Island, which is where they belong, because, as we all know, islands can float away. If this happens, maybe we can have 2 good teams in New York State.

This is one great logo! The Islanders never should have gotten away from it. This is what they had in becoming the greatest team in NHL history in the 1980s.
