the name is cool and different. not ur usual bears, eagles(or other birds of prey), tigers, wildcats, bulldogs, etc.

@ RedSox44. Wrong. The State tree of Indiana is the Tulip Poplar tree.

I like the logo, I'm in to simple classic logos like this. cool name too. I might like to see a lil' update to the logo, like in the way YtownSports said

Love this. I think they're called the Sycamores because that's the state tree of Indiana and 'Hoosiers' was already taken by a different university. I like the name, much more unique then other college mascots (there's about a dozen Eagles and a dozen Bears).
