I like this logo. It's an update over the one they had before this.
I actually don't have any issues with this logo. I understand that Buffalo has a pretty long history with both ice hockey and the Sabres, but I think you have to analyze the logo in of itself, and base it solely on what a franchise used in the past. That said, I think this logo works very well in ice hockey... It shows "motion," it has a modern design, and it uses bright colors. Look at nearly every ice hockey franchise in the NHL today, and you'll see those three trends. For what this logo is supposed to represent, I think the "Buffaslug" is quite nice.
Heh... I'm probably one of the few that likes the Buffaslug, here...
It just looks stupid. I mean look at the jerseys. The classic Logo is still the best. Keep the colors blue and yellow. The Black, grey, red time was bad.
