You're going to have to get used to it bro, It's always going to be on the shoulder's of our jerseys. Hopefully they'll wise up and use it as either the primary or at least on an alt. sweater one day.
1 word: primary
I understand the previous explanation of the skull being found in Nashville being the reason for the name. But I think it is still dumb for your mascot to be a fearsome pre-historic cat creature and have a logo be the skull of said creature; indicating it is no longer alive. Again, I get it, but it just seems dumb. Plus their whole name/logo/uniforms all seem very minor league to me. Glad to see me Hawks dispose of them in round 1.
Nashville's team was named the Predators because of a sabre-tooth tiger skull they found while while building a downtown business. The skull logo is actually the most fitting logo for our team.
This would be a perfect logo, for the old move basEketball. Their chherleaders could wear skin tight skeleton suits. hmmm.
