I like this better than the boring monochromatic logo they have now.
This was by far my favorite Canucks logo, it was a nod to theire partners; Orca Bay Sports, SHould of kept this & leave the ''strick-in-rink'' as a shoulder patch.
It's a shark to the ignorant casual viewer. Anyone who knows anything about the history of Pacific Northwest will know this is a whale. It's drawn in the traditional art style from the tribes and people that have lived in the Northwest for thousands of years. The Seattle Seahawks and Thunderbirds have similar "Native"-style logos.
look at the fins, the face. i have never once confused this for a shark. doesnt even come close to a shark. it's an awesome logo in y mind and the newer version with modified colors is even better
