This represented the unification of Minneapolis and St. Paul. The two individual cities previously had been very divided: they had their own sports teams, laws, and, at ne point, were seperated by an hour of time. After fights broke out at the game between Minneapolis and St. aul's baseball teams, they decided it was time to unify them, so they made all of their sports teams Minnesota. This logo respresents their unification.

I love the Twins dearly, but they didn't give them selves a good name to work with as far as a logo goes....

Somehow, I remember this logo not having the 'Win! Twins!' on it. Also, from a distance, it kind of looks like someone sobbing.
