Hockey Club Amur Khabarovsk (Амур Хабаровск) play at the Platinum Arena in Khabarovsk, Russia; joining the Kontinental League for the 2008-09 season. The team began play in 1966 as SKA Khabarovsk and took on their current name for the 1996-97 season. The name Amur refers to the Amur River which is located near their home city of Khabarovsk. The team is nicknamed The Tigers in English.
