HC Yugra Logos History

Hockey Club Yugra (ХК Югра Хоккейный клуб Югра) joined the KHL for the 2010-11 season when Lada Togliatti was expelled for their arena situation. The team plays out of Arena Urga in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia and were originally founded in 2006. The team mascot is a wooly mammoth, the result of a fan vote held in 2010, named after the remains of several mammoths found in the region.
