The Hanwha Eagles 한화 이글스 마크 play in the city of Daejoen at Daejeon Hanbat Baseball Stadium. The club was founded in 1985 as the Binggrae Eagles and renamed Hanwha in 1994 after Binggrae left the Hanwha Group. Hanwha is a Korean business conglomerate focusing everything from explosives to financial services and retail and is headquartered in Seoul. The Eagles won their only KBO Korean Series championship in 1999.
