Primary Logo (1992/93-1998/99)

What is the Pittsburgh Penguins Logo?

Commonly referred to as the RoboPenguin by fans, the Pittsburgh Penguins modernized their logo following back to back Stanley Cup Championships for the 1992-93 season. The new logo showed a black and white penguin on a yellow and black triangle with two white horizontal lines to the right side indicating movement. The Penguins slightly changed the shade of yellow on this logo for the 1999-2000 season.
