Boston Bruins Logo

Primary Dark Logo (1949/50-1994/95)

What is this Boston Bruins Logo?

Referred to either as the "Hub City" logo or the "spoked B" logo, the Bruins have used a logo in this style for over 70 years now. First introduced as an anniversary logo in 1948, the team made adjustments and it became their primary logo for the 1949-50 season. The logo, shown here on gold, shows a "B" in gold trimmed inside a black circle with 8 black spokes surrounding it. This logo was finally updated and replaced 45 years later in 1995.
