The Cleveland Indians wore this patch on all their jerseys throughout the 1993 season. The patch honours the memory of Indians pitchers Steve Olin and Tim Crews who were involved in a boating accident during Spring Training 1993 claiming both their lives. Indians pitcher Bob Ojeda, who was also in the boat at the time of the fatal crash survived with serious injuries.
