The Detroit Tigers road jersey logo in the late 1950s showed Detroit in navy blue scripted on a grey jersey. The Tigers had worn a scripted Detroit logo on their road jerseys since 1930 with slight tweaks over the years, this version removed the orange trim from that worn previously. In 1960, the Tigers moved away from the scripted road logo, it returned for good in 1994.
Notable Players of this era: Al Kaline, Jim Bunning, Larry Doby
