The Lotte Giants 롯데 자이언츠 마크, one of the KBO League's charter franchises, play in the City of Busan at Ulsan Munsu Baseball Stadium. The Giants originally began play as an amateur team in 1975 before turning pro with the founding of the Korean Baseball Organization in 1982. The team, often nicknamed the Seagulls, have won two championships in 1984 and 1992. They are owned by the Lotte Corporation, a Korean company which started out selling chewing gum but has since grown into a conglomerate.
