The Kontinental Hockey League All-Star Game (Матч всех звёзд Континентальной хоккейной лиги) is played at the mid-way point of each KHL season consisting of the top players from across the league that season, the first edition of the KHL All-Star Game was played during their inaugural season in 2008-09. The format began as the top Russian KHL players against the top KHL players from the rest of the world, the World team won the first two games before the KHL changed the format to the Eastern Conference vs the Western in 2011. For the 2017 KHL All-Star Game a mini tournament format was adopted consisting of the four divisions: Bobrov, Tarasov, Kharlamov, and Chernyshev.
