What's the story of the Jokerit name and logos?

Helsingin Jokerit play their home games at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland. They joined the Kontinental League in 2014-15 following a successful run in various Finnish leagues, most recently SM-liiga from 1989-2014. During their time in the Finnish leagues they won the top league championship six times. The Jokerit name translates to Jokers (or Jesters) in English.
