HC Lada Togliatti (Лада Тольятти) play out of the Lada Arena in Tolyatti, Russia. The team was founded in 1976 as Torpedo Togliatti beginning play in the Soviet League, the team took on the current name in 1989. In 2008 Lada joined the KHL for it's inaugural season but were expelled due issues with their arena after the 2010 season, following a four year stint in Russia's Supreme Hockey League they were re-admitted to the KHL with a new arena in 2014.
