The Virginia Beach Neptunes were announced as a expansion franchise for the Atlantic League to begin play in the 2015 season. That didn't happen; and as of 2018 the Neptunes had still not yet played a single game in the Atlantic League. Officially the franchise appears to be listed as a proposed team, they unveiled logos so they remain on the site... just be aware, they never actually played a game.
