The Los Angeles Kings logo is a throwback of sorts to the one used by the club from 1988 to 1998. It shows KINGS in black italic lettering with speed lines on a silver banner over a shield, Los Angeles is above, and a crown (based on the design of their 1967 sweater crest) at the bottom. The entire logo is trimmed in black and white.
