What is this Baltimore Ravens Logo?
The original Baltimore Ravens logo featured a purple and black winged B within a gold and black shield with two black, purple, and white raven wings from the sides. The team name RAVENS is arched across the top in white, and a gold and a white stylized cross bottony representing George Calvert (the original Lord Baltimore and founder of Maryland) is at the bottom.
This logo was later the focus of a legal dispute between Frederick Bouchat and the Ravens. Bouchat claimed the team stole his original design and successfully sued the club, leading the team to change logos after only three seasons.
