What is this Chicago Cardinals Logo?
The Chicago Cardinals wore this plain cardinal red helmet shell with a single grey bar from 1955 until 1957. The Cardinals wore this both for home and road games, sometimes swapping with a white helmet during this time. Chicago had been wearing a red leather helmet since 1948 but did not attach a grey face bar, as shown here, until the 1955 season.
