With the promotion of the previous third jersey to the road jersey, the Senators created this new third jersey featuring the same logo now on a black jersey. The logo shows the Senators familiar Centurion logo but now turned to face the viewer. This logo was altered slightly following the 2001-02 season, the shading of the face was simplified.
