What is this New York Knicks Logo?

The New York Knicks logo of their most successful era in the 1960s and 1970s, the first design in the evolution of their current mark showed KNICKS arched in orange lettering trimmed in blue bursting out from above a photograph of a basketball. The Knicks used this logo from 1964-65 until the end of the 1978-79 season before they changed their colours to navy and burgundy for the 1980s.
