The Cleveland Cavaliers introduced a new alternate logo for the 2022-23 season that showed the team abbreviated nickname of CAVS in gold split lettering with a basketball and net in place of the V. This is a comination of the primary logo style from 1983-94 and the lettering style from 1994-2003
