The original Phoenix Coyotes logo known now as the Kachina logo shows a kachina-doll style coyote in sienna standing in the shape of an A for Arizona. The coyote is holding a hockey stick while wearing a crescent moon on its chest. The Coyotes darkened the shade of brick red following the 1998-99 season.
