The Pittsburgh Penguins alternate uniform, introduced for the 2021-2022 season, is a black jersey with PITTSBURGH written diagonally in gold with a white drop shadow and a triangle-free version of their primary penguin logo on the shoulder. The uniform is a throw back to the Pens road black jersey worn in the mid 1990s.
