What is this New Orleans Jazz Logo?

During their inaugural season, the New Orleans Jazz wore an altered version of their familiar JAZZ wordmark for road games only. The J did not include the basketball and was more rounded than the usual logo. The team wore its usual logo on their home whites during the season and the road purples were given the proper logo the following season.
