What is this Western Carolina Catamounts Logo?
In June 1996, a full body catamount in a leaping motion with a purple gradient swipe to go with the side-looking Primary head logo . Shortly after Bardo became chancellor in 1995, he commissioned the design of a new Catamount insignia that depicted the more aggressive stance WCU was taking in all its academic and athletic programs.
