What is this Buffalo Sabres Logo?

Following a 16-year abscence, the Buffalo Sabres brought back their black, red, and silver logo (often referred to as the Goathead logo) to be worn on their new third uniform for the 2022-23 season. The design was simplified with some details removed and cleaned up versus the original design from 1996.
