What is this Stanley Cup Playoffs Logo?
The 2022 Stanley Cup Final wordmark logo features a nearly photo-realistic depiction of the Stanley Cup on a black and silver shield with the event name below. The shield represents a championship banner, the font used for STANLEY CUP is based on original cup etchings, and the FINAL typeface from the signage at the Windsor Motel in Montreal - site of the establishment of the league in 1917. This was the first new Stanley Cup logo in nine years.
