The Calgary Flames made some minor changes to their original logo - a red C with flames shooting out the back of it - for the 1994-95 season. The team added black to their colour scheme while also darkening the shade of yellow used throughout. The Flames would use this overall look for over 25 years before removing the black and returning to a design closer to their original look in 2020.
