Yarnell fire memorial, the 19 represents the 19 volunteer firefighters killed fighting Arizona wildfires in the Summer of 2013. The Diamondbacks first wore a black tribute jersey with Arizona across the front for 10 games in honour of the victims, these jerseys were auctioned off for charity. Following the 10 games of the special jersey this patch was added to the home, road, and red alternate jersey. A white version was added to the black alternate.
