John W. Mullen (1924-1991) was an executive with ties to the Braves franchise dating back to their days in Boston. He was later general manager of the Atlanta Braves from 1979 through 1986 leading the Braves to an NL West title in 1982. Mullen remained with the club as the Braves vice president and assistant general manager until his death just before the 1991 season.
