What is this UTRGV Vaqueros Logo?
UTRGV State Logo in orange, blue, green, & light orange with white fill & outline on orange background. UTRGV Athletics announced an update in June 2022 to the previous state logo, as it will now showcase the entire acronym for UTRGV horizontally across the State of Texas with a larger orange star marking the Rio Grande Valley. The changes were made to better align UTRGV with the UT System by including the UT lettering and utilizing the UT System color, orange, to mark the location of UTRGV. Additionally, the star is now bigger in recognition of the growth of UTRGV during its seven years of existence. The green star remains in the V of the UTRGV letters, honoring legacy institution UT Pan American, while the blue outline remains to honor legacy institution UT Brownsville.
