Los Angeles Angels Logo

Primary Dark Logo (1961-1964)

What is this Los Angeles Angels Logo?

The original Los Angeles Angels logo, used from 1961 to 1964, featured the city initials "LA" interlocked in red with blue trim on a baseball with blue and white wings on either side placed upon a green baseball diamond. A single gold halo hovers slightly above the "LA" design. The Angels used this logo until the club changed their location name from Los Angeles to California when they moved to their new stadium in nearby Anaheim.
