What is this Carolina Hurricanes Logo?

The Carolina Hurricanes Reverse Retro logo, a throwback to the 1979 season when the club played as the Hartford Whalers. The design features the Whalers classic logo of a green W below a blue whale tail with an H formed in the negative space between. For the Reverse Retro series this logo appears on a silver jersey.
