What is this College of Charleston Cougars Logo?
A side-view snarling cougar head in white/gold at the center of a non-serif C in maroon beside `harleston` Athletics text in maroon. Year of first use may be sooner. In 1970, the College of Charleston Maroons became the Cougars. In 1991, the program joined the NCAA Division I ranks after competing in the NAIA and in NCAA Division II.
