What is this Colorado Buffaloes Logo?
Football-specific alternative design used in the 1950s & 1960s featuring a charging black buffalo wearing a leather helmet adorned with C. The buffalo is kicking its hind legs creating dust & is snorting smoke from its nostrils. Arched COLORADO text is included on the hillside and the entire design is on a football shape. Another logo used was an inverted buffalo without the smoke/dust, hillside, and football-shape.
