What is this Duquesne Dukes Logo?
Top-hatted lion head secondary logo in navy, red, white, and electric blue with white outline for white or red backgrounds. An electric blue outline is used on navy backgrounds. The lion was inspired by the school`s academic seal. The mascot complements Duquesne`s logo, the red, italicized D monogram, that was introduced in 2019. A closer look at the mascot reveals the eyes are hypercycloids, which are also key elements of the Pittsburgh Steelers logo where Duquesne University is located.
