The New York Mets original home jersey logo, first worn from 1962 to 1977, and then again from 1991 to 1992 featured Mets scripted in blue with orange trim on a white button-up jersey with blue pinstripes. The Mets switched from a button-up jersey to a button collar in 1978, and they switched back to full buttons for the 1991 season.
