What is this UC San Diego Tritons Logo?

Triton mascot logo in blue and gold. Was previously the focal logo of the previous athletics identity. Blue and gold were changed in 2018. This was discontinued in 2021. The triton mascot models after Poseidon, the god of the sea & waters, about to throw a trident with his left hand reached out. His lower body is consisted of waves & mermaid-like tail.
