Back in 1998, someone noticed that McNeese State`s athletic logo, the one with the bucking horse and rider, looked too much like the logo used by the University of Wyoming. Enter the lawyers. Rather than fight a costly legal battle, McNeese gave in and agreed to make changes leading the new design in 2002.
