What is this Marshall Thundering Herd Logo?
Angled West Virginia shape in gold between MU in green. The U of MU is lowercase but in the same height as the M. Marshall University introduced a new set of logos in January 1987 placing more emphasis on the school`s location. This version was less commonly used and was worn on the men`s basketball shorts in 1989 through 1993. Also appeared on the marching band`s uniforms.
