What is this Brown Bears Logo?
Coat of Arms. This version was adopted in 1833 to reflect the Universitys 1804 renaming from Rhode Island College to Brown University. A variation of this version was worn on their football helmets from the 1984 through 1989 seasons. The original Coat of Arms was created in 1765, one year after the school founding.
