For the 2021-2022 season, the Chicago Blackhawks wore this #35 patch on the upper right corner of their home and road jerseys in memory of goaltender Tony Esposito who had died in August 2021 at the age of 78. Esposito, a hall of famer, was the Black Hawks goaltender for 15 seasons between 1969 and 1984.
