Toronto Blue Jays Logo

Primary Dark Logo (1994-1996)

What is this Toronto Blue Jays Logo?

The Toronto Blue Jays logo used from 1994 to 1996 was a slightly updated version of their original logo, the profile of a blue jay head remained but adjustments were made to the lettering (note the Y and S) as well as the stitching in the baseball. This was most likely the result of MLB digitizing their logo catalogue in the early 1990s as the team continued to use the original version on many items during this span while MLB used the newer version. This was replaced with the large Maple Leaf logo introduced for the 1997 season.

Notable Players of this era: Joe Carter, John Olerud, Paul Molitor, Roberto Alomar, Carlos Delgado, David Cone, Frank Viola
