In 2015, Notre Dame Athletics partnered with California-based Innovation Protocol to create well-defined standards for use of the Monogram as well as the leprechaun and shamrock. The result was a redesigned ND Monogram for consistent use. That single Monogram replaced up to 20 versions once offered by the licensing department.
