A departure from what the Mighty Ducks had worn up until that time, the team adopted a scripted logo in purple, silver, and black as the crest to be worn on their black and purple alternate third uniform from 2003 to 2006. The logo featured Anaheim in white and silver script with a silver tail above with Mighty Ducks in black all enclosed in purple.
